What Youll Do

As part of our Parks Maintenance team youll help maintain and enhance OFallons parks athletic fields playgrounds pavilions lakes and green spaces. Your responsibilities will include:

• Grooming and prepping athletic fields for games and tournaments
• Mowing trimming seeding and aerating turf areas
• Maintaining park restrooms pavilions and playgrounds for public safety
• Assisting with irrigation minor construction projects and playground inspections
• Operating equipment such as mowers backhoes dump trucks and skid steers
• Supporting special events festivals and snow removal operations

What Were Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• 13 years of experience in groundskeeping parks maintenance landscaping or similar work
• Valid Class A CDL (or ability to obtain one) Paid CDL Training Program available
• Positive attitude teamwork spirit and flexibility to work evenings weekends and in various weather conditions
• Experience in turf management for athletic fields or golf courses is a plus
