JOB TITLE: Software Engineer - Developer 1
LOCATION: Kent WA
PAY RATE: $52/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Assist with design development testing and maintenance of embedded software across the full lifecycle

• Review analyze and translate customer requirements into initial software designs

• Support development maintenance enhancement and optimization of software for system integration

• Assist with documentation and maintenance of architectures requirements algorithms interfaces and designs

• Debug and resolve issues to ensure reliability and efficiency of software products

• Support implementation of emerging technologies tools frameworks and regulatory updates

• Assist in development and improvement of software processes tools and key performance metrics

• Contribute to software research and development activities

• Support software project management and supplier management functions

• Assist in tracking and evaluating software team and supplier performance to ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance (not required to start)

• Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in Engineering Computer Science Mathematics Physics or Chemistry (or equivalent combination of technical education and experience). ABET accreditation preferred but not required.

• Experience with the full software development lifecycle (architecture design coding integration testing)

• Experience working in Agile software development environments

• Experience using Agile workflow tools such as VS Code and platforms such as GitLab

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
