Vast is looking for a Operations Specialist II reporting to the Director of Operations to support the development of the systems that will be required for the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations.

This will be a full-time exempt position located in our Long Beach headquarters.

Responsibilities

• Independently coordinate equipment moves and storage logistics.
• Obtain vendor bids and assist with contractor selection.
• Coordinate offsite storage for excess equipment and supplies.
• Review floor plans and drawings to support space planning and layouts.
• Order track and manage supplies for assigned areas.
• Lead setup and coordination for small-to-medium events.
• Serve as point of contact for specific operational projects or zones.
• Communicate timelines scope and status updates to stakeholders.
• Identify process improvements and operational gaps.

• Vendor coordination and cost awareness.
• Problem-solving with limited information.
• Cross-functional communication.
• Adaptability in fast-changing environments.

Additional Requirements:

• Works independently with minimal supervision.
• Manages priorities across multiple tasks or projects.

Pay Range:

• Operations Specialist: $112000 - $159000
