Scope of Project

The Child Support System Enhancement Effort is modernizing legacy mainframe functionality into a web-based platform to improve usability accessibility and scalability. The Senior UI/UX Developer will lead the user interface transformation replacing legacy JSP screens with modern responsive and accessible web interfaces in an Agile environment.

This role emphasizes human-centered design accessibility (WCAG compliance) modern JavaScript frameworks and AI-assisted development practices.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement responsive UI using HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript Bootstrap

Develop interfaces using modern frameworks such as React Angular or Vue

Replace legacy JSP screens with accessible and user-friendly designs

Create wireframes prototypes and reusable design systems

Ensure seamless integration with backend RESTful APIs

Optimize UI for performance accessibility and cross-browser compatibility

Leverage AI tools (Figma AI Copilot ChatGPT Uizard Canva AI etc.) for UI optimization and development efficiency

Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with backend developers and UAT teams

Implement UI testing using tools such as Jasmine Jest Selenium
