The company operates at meaningful scale with a well-established market presence and an ambitious growth agenda focused on strengthening market share improving profitability and driving commercial excellence.

As part of its ongoing evolution the organization is seeking to appoint a CFO who will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team with a particularly critical mandate around pricing strategy commercial governance and driving financial outcomes through disciplined execution of schemes and market interventions.

The Role

The CFO will lead the finance function while playing a central role in shaping commercial strategy and profitability. Beyond traditional finance leadership this role requires a leader who can actively influence business outcomes through robust pricing frameworks evaluation and governance of trade and channel schemes and ensuring disciplined commercial execution across markets.

This is a business-facing role requiring both strategic thinking and strong operational grip.

Key Priorities

Strategic Finance & Business Partnership

• Partner closely with the CEO and business leadership on strategy growth and profitability improvement

• Provide financial leadership on key business decisions including expansion product strategy and market investments

• Drive planning budgeting forecasting and performance management

Pricing Strategy & Commercial Excellence (Critical Mandate)

• Lead the development and implementation of pricing strategy across products channels and markets

• Establish robust pricing governance frameworks to ensure margin protection and competitiveness

• Evaluate structure and monitor trade schemes channel incentives and commercial programs to ensure financial effectiveness

• Partner closely with sales and commercial teams to ensure schemes are aligned with profitability working capital and growth objectives

• Drive analytics-led decision-making around pricing discount structures and return on commercial investments

• Monitor scheme effectiveness and ensure disciplined execution compliance and financial control

Working Capital & Financial Stewardship

• Ensure strong working capital discipline and capital efficiency

• Oversee treasury banking relationships and funding strategy

• Optimize cash flow management and financial risk mitigation

Governance Controls & Financial Discipline

• Strengthen financial reporting internal controls and governance frameworks

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements

• Build transparency and accountability across the organization

Cost Profitability & Performance Management

• Drive cost optimization and margin improvement initiatives

• Establish strong MIS and profitability tracking across products and channels

• Provide actionable insights to improve business performance

Leadership & Organizational Capability

• Build and lead a high-performing finance team

• Partner closely with commercial manufacturing and leadership teams

• Drive a culture of financial rigor ownership and performance orientation

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a seasoned finance leader with:

• Chartered Accountant qualification (mandatory)

• 15–20 years of progressive finance leadership experience

• Strong experience in manufacturing industrial or product-led businesses

• Demonstrated expertise in pricing strategy commercial finance and scheme governance

• Proven track record of partnering with sales teams to drive profitable growth

• Deep understanding of margin management channel economics and commercial decision-making

• Strong leadership presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders
