Job Description

ACCIONA delivers complex civil infrastructure water and transport projects across Australia with a strong focus on sustainable solutions and long-term asset performance. Our teams design and deliver critical infrastructure that supports communities and industry. As part of our I&C team you will help shape safe reliable and efficient control systems for these projects.
As I&C Lead you define and drive the instrumentation and control scope from requirements through to commissioning. You lead a team of I&C engineers and designers work closely with Electrical Mechanical Civil and Process teams and act as a key technical contact for clients consultants and suppliers. You own I&C design packages support procurement and guide construction and commissioning to meet project quality and regulatory expectations.
- Analyse specifications to define I&C scope and design criteria
- Lead I&C design for architecture loops cabling and installation
- Prepare and present I&C deliverables for client review and approval
- Manage I&C procurement packages and assess vendor proposals
- Support construction with installation wiring loop checks and tests
- Support pre commissioning and commissioning to meet design intent
- Mentor I&C engineers and promote good engineering practice
Required Skills and Competencies
- Degree in Electrical I&C or related engineering field
- Strong I&C design experience in industrial or infrastructure
- Proven record leading I&C packages and client interfaces
- Solid knowledge of DCS or PLC and field instrumentation
- Familiar with relevant I&C standards and regulations
