This is a newly defined enterprisecritical leadership role with a clear mandate to transform how MyState operates across product operations and customer delivery.

The Opportunity
As Head of Business Improvement you will lead the identification prioritisation and execution of business improvement initiatives that uplift customer experience operational efficiency and commercial performance across the bank.
This is a highimpact crossbank role with stakeholders spanning Product Customer Operations Technology and Risk. You will influence how work is prioritised how processes are designed and how change is delivered to ensure transformation efforts translate into measurable outcomes.
This role is not about transformation frameworks or isolated projects. It is about fixing what gets in the way of great outcomes simplifying complexity and turning strategy into action.
What You Will Be Accountable For
- Setting and leading an enterprise continuous improvement agenda aligned to strategic priorities
- Improving operational efficiency and customer experience through process simplification and better ways of working
- Identifying and progressing digitisation automation and AIenabled opportunities that deliver tangible benefits
- Developing business cases and recommendations to inform executive and Investment Committee decisions
- Supporting leaders to implement enterprise tools and workflow solutions that improve outcomes
- Leading practical change management to ensure new ways of working are embedded and sustained
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement accountability and customercentric thinking across the organisation
The Leader We Are Looking For
This role will suit a senior leader who has built their career at the intersection of business transformation customer outcomes and operational execution within a regulated environment.
You are likely to bring:
- Experience leading transformation operations product or customer initiatives within banking or financial services
- A strong track record delivering change that improves both customer experience and commercial performance
- Demonstrated ability to operate across complex stakeholder environments
- A practical mindset focused on simplification execution and outcomes
- Sound commercial judgement balanced with a clear focus on customer impact
Most importantly you understand that meaningful tbusiness improvement comes from getting the fundamentals right consistently and at scale.
