This contract position offers an on-site opportunity to provide exceptional care to young patients contributing to their health and well-being in a supportive environment.
As a Locum MD in Pediatric Surgery you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating surgical conditions in infants and children. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care is delivered. This role is crucial in addressing the surgical needs of our pediatric population and will allow you to make a significant impact in the community.

Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures on pediatric patients
- Conduct pre-operative and post-operative assessments
- Collaborate with pediatricians and other specialists
- Provide comprehensive patient care and education
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Stay current with advancements in pediatric surgical practices
- Ensure compliance with medical regulations and standards
Requirements
- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Pediatric Surgery
- Valid medical license to practice in the state
- Strong clinical and surgical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach
- Experience in a pediatric surgical setting is preferred
Schedule: 5 full days 2 half days with call per month
Annual Volume: 45k ED cases
Must be board-certified
