As a Locum MD in Pediatric Surgery you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating surgical conditions in infants and children. Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures on pediatric patients
- Conduct pre-operative and post-operative assessments
- Collaborate with pediatricians and other specialists
- Provide comprehensive patient care and education
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Stay current with advancements in pediatric surgical practices
- Ensure compliance with medical regulations and standards
Requirements
- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Pediatric Surgery
- Valid medical license to practice in the state
- Strong clinical and surgical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach
- Experience in a pediatric surgical setting is preferred
Schedule: 5 full days 2 half days with call per month
Annual Volume: 45k ED cases
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
