As a Locum MD in Cardiology you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions while collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with cardiovascular diseases
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient assessments
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results accurately
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other specialists to provide optimal care
- Educate patients on cardiovascular health and preventive measures
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiology
- Document patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with regulations
- Participate in case discussions and contribute to team-based care approaches
Requirements
- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Cardiology preferred
- Associate-level experience in cardiology or related medical field
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and ongoing professional development
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Level I Trauma
Schedule: 6:30p-7:30a
16-bed pediatric cardiology ICU
Will see preemie patients as well
Support Staff: APPs
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
