As a Locum Ob/Gyn you will play a crucial role in our team by delivering comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services ensuring patient safety and maintaining the highest standards of medical practice. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to patients
- Conduct thorough examinations and diagnose medical conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Perform necessary surgical procedures and interventions as required
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Educate patients on health management and preventive care
- Participate in continuous professional development and training
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Current medical license to practice in the state of practice
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Strong clinical skills in obstetric and gynecological care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong commitment to patient safety and quality care
- Availability to work flexible hours as needed
Schedule: Thursday-Monday (7:30p-7:30a) 2 weekends per month
Covering L&D ED and GYN inpatients
Required Skillsets: Low-risk pregnancy high-risk pregnancy OB ultrasounds routine and complicated deliveries VBACs surgical gynecology and procedures
Will supervise CNM
EMR: Cerner
Must be board-certified
