Job Summary
Job Description
EduTalent Group are looking for an exceptional Head of Geography to lead the department from September 2026. This senior leadership role involves strategic oversight of Geography teaching curriculum development and departmental success at a leading British international school in Madrid.
Requirements
Good honours degree from a British university
PGCE or equivalent qualified teacher status with Geography specialism
Recent experience teaching IGCSE and A Level Geography
Previous Head of Department experience
Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent classroom management and organisational abilities
Nativelevel English proficiency
Desirable but not essential:
Experience in an international school
Recent UK teaching experience
All appointments are subject to safeguarding checks including references and ACRO Criminal Records Office clearance.
