As the successful candidate you will join our SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) team as a SEND Family Support Navigator.
In this role you will be providing personalised support for parent/carers through a blend of face to face virtual and group work enabling them to feel more confident and empowered to manage the issues they face.
The role reflects the Home-Start approach bringing together trusting relationships strengths-based practice and skilled volunteer involvement.

Home-Start offers a unique service.
We recruit and train volunteers usually parents themselves to visit families at home and offer informal friendly and confidential support.
The families we help have at least one child under twelve. Our aim is to help parents grow in confidence strengthen family relationships and build strong links within their community.
