The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting pupils personal development attendance and behaviour working closely with Heads of Year and senior leaders to ensure students are fully supported both academically and emotionally.
The Role
Supporting pupils with behavioural emotional and pastoral needs
Working closely with Heads of Year to monitor attendance and wellbeing
Conducting restorative conversations and behaviour interventions
Liaising with parents and external agencies where appropriate
Supporting safeguarding processes and documentation
Monitoring punctuality and daily attendance patterns
Contributing to whole-school behaviour strategies
Promoting a positive and inclusive school culture
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Previous experience in a pastoral youth work or school-based support role
Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and families
A calm resilient and solutions-focused approach
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
