Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of the Councils financial strategies in alignment with the Strategic Plan.
- Utilize professional judgment to analyse and interpret financial data providing accurate support to Housing services.
- Identify and escalate issues as necessary consulting with the Housing Support Accountant.
- Assist in managing the Housing Invoices mailbox.
- Review and organize incoming emails containing invoices statements credit notes delivery tickets and queries; manage multi-invoice PDFs and file documents appropriately.
Requirements
- Experience using Microsoft Office.
- Basic understanding of invoice requirements including VAT.
- Four GCSEs (AC) including Maths and English or demonstrable numeracy and literacy skills.
Additional Information
- Working hours: 37 hours per week
- The role requires a DBS.
- Bi-weekly payment schedule
