BIM Coordinator (Senior Consultant)

Therole is varied and requires a candidate with excellent interpersonal skillsexperienceengaging with project stakeholders and the ability to work approachto workisa must as well as experienceinBIM requirements development implementation execution BIM modelvalidationand data verification. Strong data analysis and data visualisation skills are also a must as rotation across BIM and data analysis projects is expected.  

KeyResponsibilities 

At Turner andTownsendwe work holistically with our wider business to provide an environment for innovation and deliver success on projects where BIM is core to the delivery and operation of lead the BIM process atorganisationalprogrammeand project level. The candidates responsibilities will span acrossmultiple project stages including: 

• Discovery understanding and BIM requirements development (OIRs AIRs EIRs PIRs). 

• BIM implementationstrategy and project setup. 

• Project andprogrammeBIM execution. 

• BIMinformation management and supply chain management. 

• BIM compliance checking and data verification.

Qualifications :

• 4 years experience inBIM management inarchitectureengineeringand construction projects across the entire project lifecycle. 

• Highly proficient in spoken and written English with excellent command (Level C1 Advanced). 

• Advanced skills in configuration and management ofAutodesk Construction Cloud(ACC). 

• Authorkey BIM documentation such as Asset Information Requirements ExchangeInformation Requirements Project Information Requirementsand where applicable BIM Execution Plans. 

• Assure project BIM standards are being followedreportingonkey risks and effective mitigationsusing plain language reporting. 

• Consulting and business analysis skills 

• Proficiency in data visualisation software such as Power BI and Tableau 

• Strong understanding of dimensions measures metadata & schemas 

• Manage teams of BIM coordinators. 

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels. 

• Advanced-levelexperience in BIMauthoringvalidationand coordination tools likeRevitAECOsimNavisworksVectorworksBIM CollabSolibriModelCheckerand IFC Checker. 

• Up to date knowledge ofISO19650standards. 

• Ability to leadand support teamsin the implementation of BIM on major projectsandprogrammes. 

• Assess projectteamsBIM competencyadvisingthe development of the project BIM Execution Plans and approving on behalf ofthe client where necessary. 

• Lead model assurance activitiesincluding definition ofstrategy andmodeland BIM dataanalysis. 

• Chair andBIM workshopswith the project team to present outcomes of model assurance activities. 

Desirable Skills & Experience 

• Data center sector experience. 

• Consultancy backgroundwith client-facing experienceand a client-orientatedapproach. 

• Data management including extractingorganisingandanalysingBIM data including dashboard creation viaPowerBIor similar. 

• Knowledge ofdelivery requirementsquality managementandprocess improvementin complex construction projects. 

• Skilled in presenting and delivering training to groups of stakeholders. 

• Research develop and implement areas ofnew technologyprocessand emerging best practices. 

• Provide support to the wider business with tender bidding teams to win future work. 

• Portuguese speaking.
