Purpose

Join our team within theBiometrics Solutions & Technologies entity in Osny specifically within the product line dedicated to biometric terminals.

This innovative range includes access control solutions based on biometric technologies (fingerprints finger vein recognition contactless fingerprint facial recognition) and/or badge systems supported by high-performance administration software.

Our products are deployed in a wide variety of environments such as banks airports ports headquarters casinos and corporate sites both indoor and outdoor worldwide.

They interact with users through a touchscreen interface and network connectivity delivering a smooth and intuitive user experience.

Key Missions

The internship aims to enhance a hardened embedded Linux OS used in secure environments.

As an intern you will work closely with:

  • Firmware development teams
  • Embedded Linux experts
  • Cybersecurity specialists

Key stages of the internship:

  • Discovering the hardened embedded Linux OS used in our products
  • Redesigning and optimizing the Linux kernel configuration
  • Integrating an HSM (Hardware Security Module) simulator into the build chain
  • Implementing a USB debug channel via a USB connection
  • Developing and deploying automated tests executed on an existing product
  • Presenting the results to teams in France and India

Profile & Other Information

Engineering student

Knowledge of embedded systems and Linux OS

Knowledge of Yocto (a plus)

Proficiency in Linux shell scripting and C

Fluent English preferred
