Scope & context
Integrated in the Strategy department the Business Intelligence Office is a transversal team working with all business and operational teams at both central and local levels.
Sitting at the intersection of our technical Data teams and our global Business units the BI Transformation function acts as the vital bridge ensuring we translate complex data into actionable value. Our mission is to empower decision-makers by fostering a robust data culture across the group.
We are seeking a passionate and motivated BI Transformation Trainee to join our team and contribute to the evolution of our data strategy across all countries and brands within the EMobG Group. You will play an active and key role especially in our migration from our legacy BI tools to our advanced Qlik Cloud Analytics solution.
Major areas of accountability
Assist with legacy solution (SAP BusinessObjects) reports & ad-hoc requests:
Create update and disseminate essential reports empowering group business and operational teams to effectively steer their activities on a daily weekly and monthly basis.
Provide support for ad-hoc data requests which includes understanding business requirements identifying appropriate data extraction methodologies executing queries and presenting findings in an end-user-friendly format.
Active contribution to data transformation initiatives:
Help identify opportunities for report rationalization and simplification presenting these to business and operational teams for implementation across Data & Analytics group solutions.
Support the systematic tracking of legacy report decommissioning.
Be a key resource for business teams guiding them as they develop accurate reports in the new Qlik Cloud Analytics solution. Youll share best practices and offer advice.
Help guide country-level teams through their data transformation by disseminating relevant communications best practices and actionable feedback regarding their Qlik Cloud Analytics adoption.

Personal profile of position holder
Previous experience:
While extensive professional experience isnt required prior internships or project-based exposure to data analysis or business intelligence would be advantageous.
Familiarity with BI tools (SAP BusinessObjects QlikCloud Excel and Google Sheets) is a plus.
Education level / certificates: Higher education
Languages: Fluent in English
Personal characteristics: Synthetical adaptable independent detail-oriented analytical self-motivated with an inclination for problem-solving. Team-oriented structured and customer-focused.
