About the Facility
A 290-bed acute care hospital in Hudson FL is seeking experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurses (RNs) to join its inpatient care team. The hospital is a designated Level II Trauma Center and is recognized for its comprehensive cardiac services including a nationally recognized Heart Institute.

Position Summary
The Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care to adult Med/Surg patients in an acute care setting. The RN is responsible for assessing patient needs developing and implementing care plans administering treatments and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Assess plan implement and evaluate nursing care for medical-surgical patients
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes appropriately
Educate patients and families on medications treatments and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate timely and compliant patient documentation
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care team members
Qualifications
Active Florida RN license or approved compact RN license
(Florida RN license required within 90 days if compact)Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required
(BSN preferred)Recent acute care experience required
(No recent LTAC-only experience accepted)American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
(Within 30 days of hire if not current)Strong critical thinking communication and interpersonal skills
Onsite interview required
Compensation & Differentials
Hourly Rate: $30.00 $42.00 (based on experience)
Night Shift Differential: $4.75/hour
Weekend Differential: $3.00/hour
