Perform comprehensive patient assessments and record vital signs and medical histories
Administer prescribed medications IV therapies and other treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with physicians nurse practitioners and allied health professionals to plan and evaluate care
Monitor and report patient status changes promptly and accurately
Ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety procedures (NYSDOH and Joint Commission standards)
Participate in emergency response procedures (CPR code situations) when necessary
Document accurately in electronic health records (Epic EHR or facility-specific systems)
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required for hospital roles
- PALS or NRP Preferred for pediatric or perinatal care areas
- RN license
Experience: - Minimum of 1-3 years of recent experience in hospital sub-acute or long-term care settings
- ICU Med/Surgical OR ER experience preferred
- New graduates may be considered for selected opportunities
Benefits
Competitive hourly rates between $35-$50 USD per hour (commensurate with experience)
Working hours - 32 to 48 hours
Shift differentials for nights weekends and holidays
