About the Role

We are looking for a Platform Expert Master to join aSAP Competence Center playing a strategic role in defining SAPgovernance standards and architectural evolution.

This position is ideal for a senior professional with strongexpertise in SAP S/4HANA RISE with SAP Clean Core strategy and SAP BTPcapable of aligning technology with business needs while driving modernizationand innovation across a complex SAP landscape.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Governance Standards & Best Practices

• Define and continuously improve SAP team guidelines including:
• Best development practices
• Clean Core strategy and extensibility models
• DevSecOps lifecycle for SAP
• Security compliance and quality requirements
• Design and operationalize the RISE with SAP governance model in collaboration with Architecture Security and external providers
• Promote adoption of SAP methodologies and frameworks such as:
• SAP Activate
• SAP Best Practices
• SAP Reference Architectures

Architecture & Business Alignment

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic and functional needs
• Define optimal SAP solutions balancing value cost and sustainability
• Support solution architecture definition and integration design
• Ensure alignment with corporate architecture and security standards

SAP Transformation & Innovation

• Drive modernization initiatives including:
• S/4HANA migration and evolution
• RISE with SAP adoption
• Customization reduction and modernization of applications
• SAP BTP adoption
• Evaluate and promote AI use cases in SAP (e.g. SAP Business AI Joule side-by-side scenarios)
• Assess SAP and partner solutions for maturity feasibility and business value

Licensing & SAP Relationship Management

• Support analysis and optimization of SAP licensing
• Manage relationship with SAP ensuring:
• Roadmap monitoring and strategic alignment
• Coordination with SAP partners
• Escalation and management of critical issues

Collaboration & Enablement

• Work closely with Architecture Security and other Centers of Competence
• Promote knowledge-sharing continuous improvement and capability building
• Act as a key technical/functional reference within the SAP ecosystem

Deliverables

• Technical Debt Backlog
• Application technical documentation
• Infrastructure change requests

Must-Have Requirements

• Degree in Software Engineering Computer Engineering or similar
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Experience working in large-scale SAP environments
• Proven experience in SAP transformation projects (S/4HANA RISE modernization)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Experience designing and architecting solutions in SAP platforms
• Commitment to high-quality delivery
• Experience working with global and multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (JIRA / Confluence is a plus)
• Relevant certifications in SAP-related technologies/platforms

Nice to Have

• Portuguese and/or Spanish proficiency
• Experience in SAP governance roles or SAP Competence Centers
• Experience in multinational or large enterprise environments
