Job Summary

About the Role

This is not a maintenance role. This is a revenue leadership role.

We are seeking a commercially driven Director of Sales & Marketing to lead the total revenue performance of Stamford Plaza Brisbane across Rooms Corporate Groups Conference & Events and F&B.

You will own the sales strategy drive conversion discipline negotiate high-value contracts and ensure the hotel meets or exceeds its annual revenue targets.

This is a hands-on leadership position requiring strong commercial instinct market awareness and the ability to turn pipeline into confirmed business.

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Owning and delivering the annual Rooms and F&B revenue budget
  • Leading and driving a high-performing Sales & C&E team
  • Negotiating and securing major corporate MICE and group contracts
  • Driving proactive new business development across key segments
  • Strengthening account management and retention of high-value clients
  • Ensuring clear pipeline visibility conversion discipline and accountability
  • Working closely with Revenue to maximise ADR occupancy and total revenue
  • Overseeing marketing and digital strategy to support measurable ROI
  • Identifying market demand drivers and converting opportunity into revenue
  • Building strong internal alignment with Operations and Head Office

  • A commercially minded sales leader who understands revenue not just activity
  • Proven success delivering results in a 5-star hotel environment
  • Strong negotiator with experience securing high-value corporate and MICE business
  • Strategic thinker who can identify demand drivers and act ahead of the market
  • Confident communicator able to influence stakeholders and lead a team
  • Comfortable being measured on revenue outcomes
  • High level of accountability and ownership

Minimum 3 years experience in a senior Sales leadership role within luxury hospitality.
