Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic IBDP Psychology Teacher to deliver engaging inquiry-based instruction in line with the IB Diploma Programme. The teacher will guide students in developing critical thinking research skills and ethical awareness while preparing them for internal and external assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach IBDP Psychology (SL & HL) as per IB curriculum requirements
- Plan and deliver concept-driven inquiry-based lessons
- Guide students in Internal Assessments (IA) research methods and ethical considerations
- Develop students analytical writing evaluation and exam skills
- Integrate real-world and contemporary psychological studies into teaching
- Use varied formative and summative assessment strategies aligned with IB criteria
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide timely feedback
- Collaborate with the DP Coordinator and subject teams
- Participate in IB training professional development and school initiatives
Qualifications & Skills
- Masters degree in Psychology
- Teaching qualification (./PGCE or equivalent) preferred
- IB Diploma Programme teaching experience or IB training is an advantage
- Strong understanding of IB assessment criteria and command terms
- Excellent communication mentoring and classroom management skills
- Commitment to student-centered and inquiry-based learning
