Whats the role

Were looking for a datadriven finance professional to support the Analytics and Insights capability within Group Finance. This role focuses on turning complex data into clear meaningful insights that help leaders make better decisions.

Youll play a key role in building and maintaining Power BI dashboards prioritising business requests supporting and managing the rollout of a digital reporting suite. A major focus of the role is improving efficiency reducing manual reporting automating workflows and helping retire legacy systems through the Finance Data Asset solution.

Youll work closely with Finance teams Group Data Information Technology and other business units to ensure data is reliable wellgoverned and fit for purpose for businessasusual reporting and performance insights.

This is a Sydneybased role with flexible working arrangements (3 days in office).

What do I need

This role suits someone who enjoys working at the intersection of finance data and technology and who can translate data into practical business insights.

Heres what will help you succeed:

  • Strong Power BI development experience including data modelling Power Query and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX)
  • Ability to manage Power BI workspaces applications and access controls
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills working across Finance Strategy Lines of Business and Data and Technology teams
  • Ability to source transform and structure data from multiple systems into meaningful trusted datasets
  • Experience automating reporting and dashboards reducing manual processes and improving efficiency
  • Confidence designing clear interactive dashboards and presenting insights to senior stakeholders
  • Ability to take a problem statement break it down analytically and deliver practical datadriven solutions
