Job Summary
Job Description: Instructional Designer at AmeriHealth Hospice
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop engaging and innovative learning materials for healthcare professionals in the hospice care setting
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content and ensure accuracy of training materials
- Utilize instructional design principles to create effective and interactive training modules
- Assess training needs and develop curriculum to meet those needs
- Implement learning strategies to enhance knowledge retention and application in a hospice care environment
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in instructional design for healthcare education
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Instructional Design Education or related field
- Proven experience in instructional design and curriculum development
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and learning management systems
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently on multiple projects
Desired Experience:
- Experience working in a healthcare or hospice care setting
- Experience with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate
- Certification in instructional design or related field
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary Range: $120000 - $135000 per year
