CAD Designer

As the CAD Designer youll create and modify parametric 3D CAD models and production drawings across multiple engine platforms using Siemens NX - working from concept through production alongside other analysts engineers and cross-functional teams.

Youll also manage CAD data and change notifications through PTC Windchill PDMLink ensuring designs meet applicable product compliance requirements including environmental and safety regulations.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Create 3D CAD models and 2D production drawings for engine components using Siemens NX

• Design and develop components across multiple engine assembly platforms

• Prepare conceptual layouts for new product proposals and modifications to current products

• Collaborate with design engineers manufacturing engineers suppliers and quality teams to ensure designs are feasible and production-ready

• Manage CAD data file organization and change notifications using PTC Windchill PDMLink

• Apply knowledge of manufacturing processes including casting molding machining stamping and assembly

• Support electrical design work including wire harness routing and connector layouts

• Maintain structured CAD models and file organization per company standards

Requirements:

• Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in Mechanical Design or related engineering field

• Experience using 3D parametric CAD modeling software (Siemens NX or PTC Creo preferred); 3 years preferred

• Basic understanding of engine design and ability to create concepts of engine components
