Sales Development Representative (SDR) Engineering & Construction
Department: Sales & Business Development
Reports To: Sales Operations Manager
Location: Philippines (Supporting US UK & AU Markets)
Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Role
We are looking for a results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) with experience prospecting and calling engineering and construction companies. The ideal candidate has a strong background in B2B outbound sales understands technical service offerings and is confident engaging decision-makers within the engineering and construction industry.
This role is focused on generating qualified leads and booking high-quality meetings for the Business Development team across US UK and Australian markets.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct outbound calls to engineering construction and industrial companies (US UK & AU markets)
Identify and qualify potential clients for engineering design and automation services
Engage decision-makers such as Project Managers Engineering Managers and Operations Directors
Book qualified appointments for the Business Development team
Maintain and update CRM with accurate prospect and pipeline information
Follow up with leads via phone email and LinkedIn
Research target companies and identify project opportunities
Meet and exceed daily weekly and monthly outreach and booking targets
Required Qualifications
25 years of experience as an SDR BDR or Outbound Sales Representative
Proven experience calling engineering or construction companies (preferred)
Strong understanding of B2B outbound sales processes
Excellent English communication skills (neutral accent preferred)
Experience selling technical or engineering services is an advantage
Comfortable working with international clients across US UK and AU time zones
Technical Skills
CRM experience (HubSpot Salesforce or similar)
LinkedIn Sales Navigator (preferred)
Email outreach tools
Basic understanding of engineering and construction terminology
Key Competencies
Confident cold caller and strong relationship builder
Resilient target-driven and results-oriented
Strong objection-handling and persuasion skills
Organized and detail-oriented
Self-motivated and proactive
