Catholic Charities is seeking a Bilingual Clinical Therapist to provide outpatient mental health to children and adults in individual and group settings in person or virtually.
This contracted position will keep a minimum of 5 cases . Compensation is based on a 60/40 revenue split with the contractor receiving 60% and Catholic Charities retaining 40%.
JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Director and Program Managers of Clinical Services provides counseling services to individuals adolescents and families according to evidence-informed best practices and within agency guidelines.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct individual family marital and group therapy counseling as directed by the clients clinical needs.
- Ensure that referrals are made to appropriate internal and external services as required to meet the needs of the client.
- Respond to all referrals in a timely and professional manner.
- Some experience and understanding of trauma and Trauma Informed Care practices.
- Maintain accurate client documentation regarding services provided according to Agency guidelines using the database(s) provided by the agency and within Agency time frame.
- Actively participate in team meetings and training.
Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Masters degree in social work or related field.
- License in Social Work or related field from the State of Tennessee (e.g. LCSW LMSW LMFT LPC-MHSP).
- Bilingual English /Spanish (REQUIRED)
- Must have knowledge of human behavior and child development and the ability to use various methods and techniques of counseling with children adults couples and families.
Additional skills or requirements
- Must possess a current NPI or willing to obtain one.
- Willing to be credentialed and paneled for private insurance through Headway.
- Ability to handle confidential information with extreme professionalism.
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office products with ability to learn new technology as needed.
- Ability to exercise good judgment courtesy and tact in dealing with the public and staff.
- Self-starter with ability to work independently.
- Satisfactory completion of a background and reference check.
