Job Summary
The position is for a night shift Registered Respiratory Therapist with a NYS license. The hours would be 36 (3-12 hours shifts). This therapist would be responsible for neonate through adult patients. BLS ACLS PALS a must and NRP would ideal but not required. Prior NICU experience would be fantastic but not required. On call and floating are not required. Therapists should have strong critical care and critical thinking skills familiar with protocols and proficient with high flow mechanical ventilation Arterial puncture and Non-invasive ventilation. Weekend requirement of 2-3 nights as weekend coverage.
