Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Associate Demand Forecaster & Modeling (BGS-G SC) to join our team in Hazelwood MO.
Position Responsibilities:
Performs or maintains routine inventory procedures assists in analyzing postproduction supply chain data to define reorder points and quantities.
Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving
Champions culture of quality learning trust and collaborative energy
Assess performance of models and analysis and confirm that business objectives were met
Adaptable able to work in a constant change and fast paced environment
Builds and manages data sets/modeling records to run models and simulations
Identify process and system improvements and support business decisions
Gathers cleans and verifies accuracy and analyzes data to develop and manage multiple data sets
Run demand forecasting strategic optimization initial spares models and logistics simulations on complex projects
Analyzes manipulates updates and optimizes models
Uses models to estimate resource needs
Uses tools models and simulations to identify process and system improvements
Assesses supply chain practices to improve cost and cycle time
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Minimum 2 years of experience in Data analytics
Minimum of 1 year experience using or applying statistical and mathematical concepts to measure performance against projects to ensure high-quality deliver
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Great communication skills and motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced production environment
Experience with statistical software (e.g. R) and database languages (e.g. SQL).
Strong team player and passion to execute projects with a focus on customer and value
Bachelors or masters in computer science economics quantitative finance operations research statistics mathematics or related field of engineering
Demand forecasting and/or data simulation experience
Travel:
This position may require traveling up to 10% of the time.
