Logistics Specialist II - WTRS

The Logistics Specialist supports the full lifecycle of government and companyâowned property at the Warehouse Support Center (WSC). This role ensures accurate accountability compliant movement and proper disposition of TADSS GFP and other assets in accordance with contractual regulatory and internal requirements. The position integrates domestic and international logistics coordination property accountability export compliance and continuous improvement activities to support WâTRS mission execution.
Primary Responsibilities:
Property Receipt Accountability & Inventory Management
- Supports the receiving of materials verifies quantities and enters data into inventory management systems for relocations exercise support and maintenance activities.
- Maintains accurate inventory records and conducts scheduled and unscheduled physical inventories.
- Ensures the integrity of inventory accuracy and manages stock movements across WSC operations.
- Updates and maintains disposal and inventory records in InSITE.
Disposal Demilitarization & Documentation
- Coordinates actions to demilitarize remove transport and arrange for disposal of TADSS GFP and unaccounted property through PIEE or as directed.
- Prepares and maintains documentation supporting disposal actions and accountability adjustments.
- Ensures all disposal and movement activities comply with CPF 12 contractual requirements and applicable regulations.
Shipping Transportation & Logistics Coordination
- Plans and coordinates shipments routing and transportation of property in compliance with federal state and local regulations.
- Oversees daily shipping activities to ensure accuracy timeliness and proper handling.
- Coordinates depot logistics and customer service activities related to property movement and the full order lifecycle.
- Liaises with suppliers manufacturers carriers and customers to support inbound and outbound property actions.
International Shipping & Export Compliance
- Coordinates international shipments in accordance with EXIM and ITAR regulations.
- Prepares and maintains ITARârelated shipping documentation.
- Facilitates customs clearance processes ensuring duties taxes and tariffs are accurately addressed.
- Coordinates with the corporate export/import compliance team for licensing product classifications and regulatory alignment.
- Tracks international shipment progress and resolves issues with carriers customs officials and other stakeholders.
Training Safety & Process Improvement
- Provides guidance and training on proper handling installation and removal of TADSS to minimize damage and ensure proper accountability.
- Implements health and safety procedures in coordination with HR and Safety departments.
- Tracks performance metrics related to inventory shipping and property movement; analyzes data to identify trends and support process improvements.
- Resolves operational issues and supports priority tasks as assigned by leadership.
Education:
(2 BA/BS or 1 MA/MS) or (4 AA) or (6 No Degree)
