Responsibilities:
1. Assist in updating our Nelnet Careers social media accounts (e.g. Facebook Instagram LinkedIn Handshake).
2. Create and curate engaging content for social media platforms including posts images videos and stories.
3. Monitor social media channels for trending topics news and relevant conversations.
4. Engage with our audience by responding to comments messages and inquiries in a timely manner.
5. Collaborate with our Recruiting and Corporate Marketing teams to develop social media campaigns and promotions.
6. Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
7. Assist in tracking and analyzing social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends tools and best practices.

Education:

• Pursuing a degreein Marketing Communications Human Resources or a related field.

• Rising Sophomore or Junior

Qualifications:
1. Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
3. Creative thinking and the ability to generate engaging content.
4. Experience using social media management tools is a plus.
5. Basic knowledge of analytics tools to track and measure social media performance is a plus.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
7. Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

Pay - $14 - $16 / Hourly
