POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a detail-oriented client-focused professional to support and grow our commercial insurance book of business. This role blends customer service with proactive inside sales requiring strong product knowledge exceptional follow-up and the ability to build trust-based relationships with business clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Client Service & Account Management
- Serve as a primary point of contact for commercial insurance clients providing accurate timely and professional support
- Provide clear explanations of coverages policies endorsements billing and certificates
- Maintain precise up-to-date client records and documentation
- Prepare and deliver confirmations receipts and policy documents
- Identify coverage gaps risk exposures and discrepancies escalating concerns as appropriate
- Ensure all work meets carrier agency and regulatory standards
- Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of commercial insurance products and services
- Follow established workflows procedures and quality standards
- Review policies endorsements and proposals for accuracy and completeness
- Follow up on delegated tasks renewals endorsements and outstanding items
- Support risk mitigation through careful review and attention to detail
- Take ownership of assigned accounts and deliver high-quality final results
Inside Sales & Relationship Support
- Proactively follow up on quotes proposals and client communications
- Support new business and renewal sales through education explanation and value-based conversations
- Confidently discuss insurance solutions that protect clients businesses and livelihoods
- Build rapport and trust through consistent encouraging and responsive service
- Serve as a positive professional voice of the agency in client interactions
