About the Role
Great Basin Staffing is hiring two Electrical Helpers / Apprentices to help finish a commercial Culvers store in Rockwall. This is a hands-on fast-paced role supporting electricians with pulling cable staging/moving materials and general electrical install support. Commercial electrical experience is required. Journeyman-level electricians who are open to day work are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Pull and dress cable per direction (commercial branch/feeds as assigned).
Assist with material handling: staging wire conduit boxes fixtures; jobsite organization.
Support electricians with basic install tasks (under supervision): device/fixture prep labeling clean terminations support punch-list items.
Maintain housekeeping and safe work areas; follow site safety rules and crew lead instructions.
Communicate clearly with the crew; take direction and keep production moving.
Required Qualifications
Commercial electrical experience (REQUIRED) helper/apprentice or higher.
Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs stand/walk all shift and work on ladders as needed.
Basic tool familiarity (tape drill/impact hand tools) and strong safety mindset.
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance for the start date.
Preferred (Nice to Have)
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Apprentice license/registration or enrolled in apprenticeship program
Journeyman Electricians seeking short-term/day work
OSHA-10 (or willingness to obtain)
Schedule & Work Conditions
Short-term commercial finish-out; hours set by site (OT possible depending on workload).
Indoor commercial environment; occasional outdoor material moves.
PPE required per site standards (hard hat safety glasses gloves work boots; hi-vis if required).
