Job Summary
Womens Healthcare Provider Opportunity
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the FloridDepartment of Corrections.
We are currently seeking afull-time Primary Care Provider/Womens Health Physician to join our team at theLowell Correctional Institutionlocated in Ocala Florida.
This position is primarily GYN procedure based no rounding or deliveries.
Hours are 8:00 - 4:30 Monday - Friday.
The physician provides obstetrics and gynecological assessment diagnosis and treatment for incarcerated female patients and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team in providing services to patients in a correctional setting. OB/GYN services include routine gynecological and obstetrics care prenatal care specialized obstetrical services postpartum care and womens health education.

Qualifications
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
Active unrestricted Floria license or ability to obtain one required
Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine with OB required
Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration with prescriptive authority
Ability to pass credentialing and background check
