Live 5 is looking for a leader who is ready to define the future of digital content in Charleston. Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Elevate our digital content team: Guide strategy to supercharge growth in digital social and streaming audiences and engagement making sure Live 5 is everywhere our community is.
- Architect seamless workflows: Craft and implement processes that deliver compelling content 24/7 optimized for every platform from broadcast to vertical video.
- Champion visual storytelling: Drive the creation of vertical videos and innovative formats that resonate deeply and expand our reach.
- Decipher the data: Dive into analytics and metrics daily to inform editorial decisions refine strategies and continuously grow our impact.
- Forge cross-platform unity: Actively partner with our News Director and station leaders to weave a cohesive compelling narrative across all channels.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- 3-5 years of hands-on digital news leadership experienceyouve been in the trenches and youve led the charge.
- A Bachelors degree in journalism communications or equivalent experience that speaks louder than a diploma.
- A proven track record of digital innovation and measurable audience growth.
- Unshakeable journalistic judgment and a news philosophy that prioritizes accuracy fairness and truly unique local storytelling.
- The ability to stay calm cool and collected during live breaking news situations making smart decisions under pressure.
- An eagle eye for detail exceptional journalism writing skills and AP style proficiency (because words matter).
- Deep experience analyzing data spotting behavioral trends and transforming insights into actionable strategies.
