Job Title: Landscape Laborer

Job Description / Requirements: Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks which may include any combination of the following: sod laying mowing trimming planting watering fertilizing digging raking assists with sprinkler installation and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. Entry level; requires supervision. Must lift/carry 50 lbs. when necessary. Saturday and Sunday work required when necessary. Employer-paid drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers prior to commencing work and post-hire upon suspicion of use and post-accident. Post-hire background check and employment eligibility (e-Verify) check required of foreign and domestic workers. Obtaining drivers license not required. However to receive reimbursement of drivers license expenses and potential hourly bonus pay those workers will be expected to periodically drive company vehicles as needed. On-the-job training will be provided to the worker.
Place(s) of Employment: 123 Atlantic Dr. Maitland FL 32751 and multiple worksites within Brevard Flagler Lake Marion Orange Osceola Putnam Seminole and Volusia counties.
Standard Schedule: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM Monday Friday 40 hours per week)
Board / Lodging: If requested employer helps non-local workers secure optional worker-paid lodging.
Wage: $17.82 per hour (OT hours vary @ $26.73 per hour). Raises and/or bonuses may be offered at employers discretion based on individual factors such as performance skill and tenure.
Employer makes all payroll deductions required by law. Voluntary deductions must be pre-authorized in writing and may include the following: Voluntary advances and/or loans made to workers if any may be repaid by pre-authorized payroll deductions. Employer deducts reasonable fair market value cost of rent/utilities based on number of occupants for workers electing to reside in employer-arranged housing (cost TBD). Holiday pay provided to all eligible workers in the position..
Tools / Supplies / Equipment: Employer provides without charge company-specific uniform and all tools supplies and equipment necessary to perform duties assigned.
Transportation: For non-local workers (i.e. residing outside normal commuting distance) employer pays or reimburses inbound travel costs no later than the 50% point in contract period. Inbound travel includes transportation costs from workers permanent residence or place of recruitment a daily meal subsistence and reasonable lodging costs if applicable. Subsistence reimbursements based on rates specified in the Federal Register (currently $16.28 per day minimum or $68.00 per day maximum for workers with acceptable receipts). Transportation reimbursements will not exceed least-cost common carrier rate. Employer provides or pays outbound travel costs upon completion of the contract or early dismissal except where the worker has subsequent employment. Employer offers free daily transportation to/from worksite from designated pick-up location. Use of transportation is voluntary. Employer provides incidental transport between job sites.
Employer will offer hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period starting with the first workday after workers arrival and ending on the contract end date or any extension thereof. Employer may count all hours worked and any hours offered (but not worked) within the standard work schedule. Workers who voluntarily abandon employment are not entitled to payment for outbound travel costs or the full three-fourths guarantee described above.
