Refrigeration Technician-no travel
Overview
Were hiring an experienced Refrigeration Technician who knows supermarket rack systems and wants steady work with no overnight travel. If youre hands-on reliable and strong in HVAC/R and electrical troubleshooting this is your opportunity.
What Youll Do
- Diagnose repair and maintain supermarket refrigeration systems
- Handle HVAC/R electrical plumbing and mechanical equipment
- Complete preventive maintenance and respond to service calls
- Troubleshoot rack systems compressors and controls
- Perform general facility repairs as needed
- Track work orders and complete daily documentation
- Use CMMS systems for all service activity
- Participate in call-in work as required
What You Need
- Supermarket rack refrigeration experience required
- Strong troubleshooting skills in HVAC/R and electrical systems
- Universal CFC certification (or obtain within 90 days)
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on technical experience
- Valid drivers license
Preferred
- Experience with work order/CMMS systems
- Trade school or apprenticeship in HVAC refrigeration or electrical
- Basic computer skills (Word Excel)
