Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a highly experienced Senior Pega Decisioning Engineer to lead the design and implementation of advanced decisioning frameworks that enhance customer engagement and operational efficiency. This role involves developing real-time and data-driven decision strategies integrating predictive analytics and ensuring the scalability and compliance of decisioning solutions in enterprise environments. Your expertise will enable organizations to deliver tailored customer experiences optimize outcomes and support business growth through intelligent decisioning.
Software Requirements
Required:
Extensive experience with Pega Customer Decision Hub and Decisioning frameworks (7 years)
Proven expertise in designing Next-Best-Action (NBA) strategies decision strategies and decision flows
Ability to configure decision tables decision trees predictive models and adaptive analytics in Pega
Working knowledge of Pega Decisioning tools and APIs
Experience with data integration to support decision strategies including external data sources
Familiarity with SQL and relational databases for data management and model validation
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture scalability and performance optimization
Preferred:
Experience with cloud deployment of decisioning solutions (AWS Azure)
Knowledge of AI/ML techniques and frameworks supporting decisioning such as predictive analytics or gen AI applications
Certification in Pega Decisioning (preferred)
Overall Responsibilities
Lead the design development and optimization of decisioning strategies and customer engagement models using Pega Decisioning tools
Translate business objectives and customer data into scalable decision models and actions
Support integration of predictive analytics ML models and external data feeds to improve decision accuracy and relevance
Implement adaptive learning and real-time decision flows to enhance customer experience and operational outcomes
Conduct performance tuning and scalability assessments to support high-volume decision processing
Work with business analysts data scientists and technical teams to refine decision strategies and ensure alignment with enterprise standards
Lead technical reviews mentorship and best practice enforcement across projects
Enable compliance with security audit and governance standards in decisioning solutions
Maintain detailed documentation of decision logic data sources and model configurations
Monitor decision performance analyze trends and continuously improve decision strategies

Programming & Model Configuration (Essential):
Configuration of decision strategies decision tables decision trees predictive models and adaptive analytics within Pega Decisioning
Experience with Java and APIs for custom integrations and extensions
Preferred:
Experience with AI/ML frameworks supporting decisioning such as LangChain Hugging Face Llama
Data & Integration:
Strong data integration skills capable of working with external data sources and APIs
SQL proficiency for data validation and model testing in relational environments
Platforms & Cloud:
Azure or AWS cloud deployment of decisioning solutions (preferred)
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker Kubernetes) (preferred)
Tools & Frameworks:
Pega Decisioning platform tools and APIs
Data science and predictive modeling tools supporting decision logic

Understanding of secure data handling access control and enterprise governance standards
Experience Requirements
7 years of hands-on experience designing developing and deploying decisioning solutions using Pega Decisioning tools
Proven ability to build next-best-action strategies decision models and adaptive analytics in large enterprise settings
Experience with cloud deployment and data integration supporting decision strategies (preferred)
Background in AI/ML integration predictive modeling or customer engagement solutions (preferred)
Prior experience supporting compliance privacy and security standards in regulated industries
Day-to-Day Activities
Design and refine decision strategies and customer engagement workflows based on business goals and customer data
Implement decision models decision tables and predictive analytics in Pega Decisioning platform
Collaborate with data scientists business analysts and developers to enhance decision accuracy and processing speed
Support integrations with external data sources APIs and AI/ML frameworks for decision improvement
Conduct testing performance tuning and validation of decision strategies
Support deployment scaling and monitoring of decisioning solutions in cloud environments
Analyze decision performance metrics identify gaps and implement continuous improvements
Document decision logic data sources and model configurations for compliance and operational transparency
Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Data Science Engineering or related fields
7 years of experience with Pega Decisioning and Customer Decision Hub
Industry certifications in Pega Decisioning (preferred)
Proven experience building decisioning frameworks supporting large-scale customer engagement and operational processes
