About the Role

We are looking for a talented Test Automation Engineer with experience in Playwright and JavaScript to design develop and maintain automated test frameworks for modern web applications. You will play a key role in ensuring product quality reliability and performance across multiple environments.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building scalable test automation frameworks and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain automated test suites using Playwright (JavaScript)
• Build scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks
• Develop end-to-end (E2E) integration and regression test cases
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and test scenarios
• Identify document and track defects
• Improve test coverage and reduce manual testing efforts
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in software testing and automation
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript
• Experience with end-to-end testing for web applications
• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
• Experience integrating tests with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions GitLab CI etc.)
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and testing lifecycle
• Experience with API testing concepts

Nice to Have

• Experience with TypeScript
• Knowledge of performance testing tools
• Familiarity with cloud environments
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
• Knowledge of test reporting tools (Allure etc.)
