Job Description:

ALogistics Operations Manageroversees the entire movement storage and distribution of goods focusing on efficiency cost-effectiveness and timely delivery by managing teams optimizing warehouse operations (receiving picking packing dispatching) coordinating transport handling vendor relations ensuring safety and using data to drive continuous process improvement. Key duties involvetransportationandwarehousing performance monitoring problem-solving and collaborating across departments to align logistics with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight: Manage daily logistics including inbound/outbound shipments warehousing (storage picking packing dispatch) and distribution.
Team Leadership: Recruit train and lead logistics teams (drivers warehouse staff) to meet targets and service standards.
Transportation&Carrier Management: Select carriers negotiate rates plan routes and track shipments.
Inventory Management: Ensure accurate warehouse inventory manage stock levels and maintain records.
Performance &Process Improvement: Implement KPIs analyze data resolve issues and drive innovation in logistics processes.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with suppliers customers and internal teams (e.g. manufacturing sales).
Budget & Compliance: Monitor budgets manage vendor invoices and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
