Reporting To: Head of Legal / General Counsel
Role Summary:
The Legal Manager will be responsible for drafting reviewing vetting and negotiating international in-licensing and out-licensing agreements to support global business expansion. The role requires strong expertise in cross-border commercial contracts intellectual property licensing and regulatory compliance with a practical business-oriented approach to risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft review and negotiate international licensing agreements (in-licensing & out-licensing).
Vet and finalize commercial contracts including distribution supply manufacturing collaboration and confidentiality agreements.
Provide legal advice on cross-border regulatory IP competition and trade law matters.
Identify legal and commercial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
Support business teams during deal structuring and negotiations with global partners.
Coordinate with external counsel in relevant jurisdictions where required.
Develop and standardize contract templates and strengthen contract governance processes.
Qualifications & Experience:
LL.B./J.D. (LL.M. preferred); qualified to practice law.
5–10 years of relevant experience in international commercial contracting and licensing transactions.
Strong understanding of IP laws contract law and cross-border regulatory frameworks.
Proven drafting and negotiation skills with strong commercial acumen.
Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment.
