Position Summary:
The HR Business Partner - Operations is responsible for managing the complete employee lifecycle from induction to exit while driving employee engagement initiatives conducting organizational surveys and collaborating with the Marketing team on employer branding activities. This role serves as a strategic partner to the operations team ensuring seamless HR processes and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Onboarding & Induction
- Design and implement comprehensive induction programs for new hires across all levels
- Coordinate pre-joining formalities including offer letter generation background verification and documentation
- Conduct engaging orientation sessions to familiarize new employees with company culture policies and procedures
- Ensure seamless integration of new hires through structured onboarding checklists and buddy programs
- Track and measure onboarding effectiveness through feedback and early retention metrics
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure role-specific training during induction
Employee Exit Management
- Manage the end-to-end exit process including resignation acceptance notice period negotiations and clearance procedures
- Conduct thorough exit interviews to gather insights on employee satisfaction and reasons for attrition
- Analyze exit interview data to identify trends and recommend retention strategies
- Ensure smooth knowledge transfer and handover processes
- Coordinate final settlement full and final documentation and exit formalities
- Maintain positive relationships with departing employees for potential rehiring and alumni networks
Employee Engagement Initiatives
- Develop and execute innovative employee engagement programs aligned with organizational values
- Plan and organize team building activities wellness programs and cultural celebrations
- Create platforms for employee recognition and rewards programs
- Drive initiatives to improve workplace culture and employee morale
- Monitor engagement levels and implement action plans to address concerns
- Foster open communication channels between employees and management
- Organize town halls skip-level meetings and feedback forums
Surveys & Analytics
- Design and administer employee engagement surveys pulse surveys and climate assessments
- Analyze survey results to identify areas of improvement and employee concerns
- Prepare detailed reports with insights and actionable recommendations for leadership
- Track key HR metrics including retention rates engagement scores and satisfaction indices
- Conduct focus group discussions to deep-dive into survey findings
- Implement and monitor action plans based on survey feedback
- Benchmark survey results against industry standards
Employer Branding Activities
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and execute employer branding strategies
- Create compelling content showcasing company culture employee stories and workplace achievements
- Coordinate employee testimonials case studies and success stories for internal and external communication
- Support social media campaigns highlighting the organization as an employer of choice
- Organize and participate in career fairs campus recruitment drives and networking events
- Develop employer value proposition (EVP) content and messaging
- Maintain and update careers page Glassdoor and other employer review platforms
Operational HR Support
- Serve as a trusted advisor to operations leadership on HR-related matters
- Address employee queries and grievances in a timely and effective manner
- Ensure compliance with HR policies labor laws and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Support performance management processes and feedback cycles
- Coordinate with other HR functions including recruitment payroll and learning & development
