Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Sales & Business Development Trainee to join our growing Ed-tech team. The role focuses on student acquisition institutional partnerships and revenue growth. The ideal candidate should be a go-getter with strong communication skills a passion for education and a results-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Student & Client Acquisition
- Drive student enrolments by counselling leads about courses and programs
- Build partnerships with schools colleges coaching centers and training institutes
- Manage inbound/outbound calls email campaigns and online demos
Business Development
- Generate new business opportunities by identifying and approaching prospective partners
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads through networking referrals and digital outreach
- Represent the company at education fairs webinars and conferences
Sales Execution
- Conduct product presentations and explain value propositions to prospective learners and partners
- Prepare proposals negotiate contracts and close deals effectively
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets
Client Relationship Management
- Maintain long-term relationships with students parents and institutional partners
- Provide post-sales support and ensure high satisfaction levels
- Upsell and cross-sell new courses or services to existing clients
Market Research & Strategy
- Track education industry trends competitor offerings and student needs
- Share insights with management to shape future products and sales campaigns
- Collaborate with marketing teams for lead-generation campaigns
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or any discipline (Freshers preferred)
- 01 years of experience in Sales Business Development or Counselling (EdTech experience preferred)
- Strong presentation communication and persuasion skills
- Comfortable with tele-sales video calls and CRM systems
- Passion for education and technology-driven learning solutions
