About the role:
- Own and manage a high-volume probate and estate administration practice
- Handle complex non-standard estates including lost informal or international wills
- Prepare and manage NSW Supreme Court probate applications and requisitions
- Apply technical judgement assess risk and determine escalation thresholds
- Lead mentor and drive quality across the probate team
- Oversee team output standards and growth contributions
- Serve as final authority on complex matters
The ideal candidate:
- 510 years high-volume probate and estate administration experience
- Strong NSW probate expertise including Supreme Court requisitions
- Skilled in managing complex unusual or imperfect estates
- Proven ability to run and review large probate volumes independently
- Leadership experience mentoring or guiding a probate team
- Exposure to trusts or trustee-managed estates highly valued
- Detail-driven pragmatic risk-aware and tech-curious
