What You Will Do:

Deliver in-person or virtual training; and
Develop and maintain proficiency in required technical skills including electronics torque safety-wire and solder; and
Follow all internal processes to deliver engaging learning content with a focus on training standards; and
Collaborate with a variety of cross-functional teams to resolve complex and conflicting priorities; and
Manage effective partnerships with customers peers and senior leaders while performing all tasks related to training delivery; and
Participate in or lead projects with teams that are responsible for creation maintenance or revision of training materials; and
Provide subject matter expertise on solder-related questions to factory personnel.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics(STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior
relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations or 5 years equivalent military experience with emphasis on technical instruction including mil-specs.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
IPC certified instructor in the following:
IPC J-STD-001 Standard for Soldering- within 90 days of hire
IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies- within 180 days of hire
IPC/WHMA-A-620 Wiring Harness Manufacturers Association- within 180 days of hire
IPC/WHMA-A-620 Space Addendum- within 180 days of hire
IPC 7711/7721 Rework Modification and Repair of Electronic Assemblies- within 12 months of hire

Qualifications We Prefer

Prior experience with solder electronics torque safety wire or other technical skills.
Experience working independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment.
Experience teaching technical skills to groups of 6 or more people
Excellent management skills.
Prior IPC solder certification
Prior experience working with an LMS
Active DoD clearance

The salary range for this role is 68900 USD - 131100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
