Job Summary

Job Overview

We are seeking a Training Lead to support our logistics and Distribution Center (DC) operations by developing and executing comprehensive training programs for all logistics and distribution functions. This role will collaborate with leaders program partners and subject matter experts to identify training needs design engaging learning experiences and ensure employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills to excel in a fast-paced environment. The Training Lead will be on-site at the West Fargo ND Marvin Distribution Center and will oversee all aspects of training delivery tracking and continuous improvement.

Highlights of your role

  • Assess training needs across logistics and distribution roles and evaluate existing materials for relevance and effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement logistics and distribution specific training strategies aligned with operational goals and compliance requirements.
  • Create learning maps by role and design training programs that support skill development safety and operational excellence.
  • Implement and manage a Learning Management System (LMS) across all distribution and logistics teams ensuring compliance and reporting capabilities.
  • Design develop and deliver training content including documentation eLearning videos and instructor-led sessions (ILT).
  • Apply human-centered design principles to ensure a positive learner experience.
  • Maintain a catalog of training materials and update content to reflect process changes and system enhancements.
  • Manage the DC training calendar and coordinate logistics for training sessions including scheduling tracking completion and follow-up.
  • Partner with the Learning and Development team to administer monitor and report on training completion and compliance.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure training effectiveness gather feedback and implement improvements.
  • Support onboarding and cross-training initiatives to build workforce flexibility and readiness.

Youre a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • Bachelors degree in Adult Education Instructional Design Human Resources or related field preferred
  • 35 years of experience developing and delivering training ideally in logistics supply chain or distribution.
  • Proficiency in instructional design methodologies (e.g. ADDIE or similar).
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training metrics reporting.
