Pay:$19.00/hour
Available Schedules:
Day Shift 5:45am - 6pm
Night Shift 5:45pm - 6am

TheArmed Security Officerposition helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel visitors and the area. Frequently our Armed Security Officers will provide customer service and information to aclients employees and customers and serve as a physical deterrent.
Armed Security Officer Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED Required.
- Basic Computer skills.
- Calm polite and professional behavior.
- High level customer service.
- PSR evaluation required.
- Military law enforcement or armed security experience preferred.
- Able to obtain armed endorsement through the state.

Typical Job Duties:
- Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions hazards unlocked doors security violations blocked entrances and exits mechanical problems and unauthorized persons.
- Responding to emergency situations where rapid and effective judgment appropriate escalation and use of force may be required.
- Working directly with law enforcement government staffing and the community.
- Writing detailed incident reports on unauthorized entries suspicious activity emergency situations and any other observed issues.
- Security screening all persons coming through the public entrance to ensure prohibited items are not entering facilities.
- Monitors surveillance ability to utilize a tablet computer or smartphone.
- Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state county and municipal licensing and permit requirements for Security Officers
