Job Summary
CyberArk is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Machine Identity Security team focused on backend systems and platform this role you will design and build scalable backend services that support certificate lifecycle management and secure machine identity at scale.
You will work on distributed systems APIs and integrations that power high-throughput reliable cloud services partnering closely with platform and product teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs for the Machine Identity Security platform
- Contribute to backend architecture and system design focusing on performance scalability and reliability
- Build integrations and tooling that support platform extensibility including APIs SDKs and system-to-system integrations
- Develop and operate distributed systems supporting high-scale multi-tenant environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including platform security and infrastructure to deliver backend capabilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across distributed services
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices CI/CD pipelines and automation
- Participate in a shared on-call rotation to support production systems ensuring high availability timely incident response and overall service reliability

Qualifications :
- 5 years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on backend engineering.
- Proven experience building modern scalable backend or distributed systems.
- Experience with AI-first development.
- Strong proficiency with Golang Java GraphQL and PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of x509 PKI and certificate issuance protocols is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication skills strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a collaborative high performance engineering environment.

The salary range for this position is $116000 $182000/year plus commissions or discretionary bonus which will be based on the employees performance. Base pay may also vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical dental vision financial and other benefits.
