Event Coordinator Intern
Do you enjoy event planning coordination and working with people We are looking for an Events Coordinator Intern to support Business Swedens US-wide events!
Spring Internship
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Approximately 3 Months
This role is based at either our New York or San Francisco office
In this role you will:
- Assist with event coordination including logistics scheduling outreach and onside support
- Update stakeholder lists support communication workflows and maintain event-related documentation
- Collaborate with consultants and senior staff to ensure high-quality well-run events and activities
Core Competencies & Collaborative Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Event planning interest or experience
- Ability to meet deadlines consistently
- Professionalism and comfort interacting with external stakeholders
- Proactive problem-solving and ability to independently follow up on tasks
Formal Requirements:
- Studying or recently completed a degree in Business Communications or a similar field
A Plus:
- Some experience (internship or professional) with event planning and project coordination
- Knowledge of Swedish or Nordic organizations
