The Role
Teaching Performing Arts across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 depending on specialism
Planning and delivering engaging practical and well-structured lessons
Supporting pupils with performance work devised pieces and exam preparation
Contributing to school productions showcases and enrichment activities
Encouraging confidence collaboration and creative expression
Working collaboratively within a supportive and well-resourced department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Performing Arts Drama Music or a related subject
Experience teaching Performing Arts at secondary level
Strong classroom management and confident practical teaching skills
High expectations for pupil engagement behaviour and achievement
A professional organised and energetic teaching approach
